Pre-Start Equipment Checks

1) Environment:

Check and ensure there are no sources of electromagnetic interference near the ECG equipment, especially large medical equipment such as electrosurgical equipment, radiology equipment, and MRI equipment. Disconnect the power to these devices if necessary.

Keep the examination room warm to avoid muscle activity voltage in the ECG signal due to cold.

2) Power Supply:

When using AC power, check that the power cord is correctly connected to the ECG equipment and grounded.

Charge the battery when it is low.

3) Grounding:

Check that the grounding wire is properly connected.

4) Patient Cable:

Check that the patient cable is correctly connected to the ECG machine and ensure it is away from the power cord.

5) Electrodes:

Check that all electrodes are correctly connected to the lead cables according to their markings and colors.

Ensure all electrodes are correctly connected to the patient.

Ensure that there is no contact between the electrodes.

Safety Precautions

• When collecting ECG data, do not touch the patient cable connector—this may result in a risk of electric -shock.
• Do not perform maintenance or repairs while the device is in use and connected to a patient.
• In case of power failure, paper feed malfunction, sensor problems, or software errors, please first refer to the troubleshooting section of the user manual.
• When printing an ECG, the file is automatically saved. Saved files can be viewed later, reprinted, or exported to a computer using optional management software.
